Membership
All worshippers and pilgrims who wish to pray or receive the sacraments in our church may do so at any time without formal membership.

However, worshippers are encouraged to become members of the church they attend most frequently, where they baptize their children, get married, or bury their loved ones.

According to the parish by-laws, all Orthodox believers who have reached the age of 21
have the right to become parish members. To do so, they must complete the appropriate application (available at the narthex) and submit it to the warden or his assistant. The application will be reviewed and approved at the next Parish Council meeting. Annual membership dues of $100 must also be paid.

Parish members have the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting of the parish, which meets once a year (if necessary, Emergency General Meetings of the parish are held). Only parish members may be elected to positions on the parish council, which are held on voluntary basis.

Being a parish member does not confer any special privileges.

Considering that we have no sponsors, the full burden of financial responsibility falls on the parish, meaning all of us. Therefore, it is important that everyone financially support their parish to the best of their ability. Membership dues help the treasurer and the parish council to calculate the parish budget.

Furthermore, as a legal entity, the authorities evaluate our parish primarily by the number of active parishioners. And the more parishioners, the better.
