What a lovely day! After Liturgy, the Parishioners gathered in the hall for a Souther Blue Fin Feast, hosted by Ivan Jigalin and Starosta. Beautiful Blue Fin Tuna was offered for lunch in many different forms. Chowder, Burgers with all the fixings, Smoked Tuna, Sashimi, Poke Bowls, and of course desserts. All absolutely delicious that had brought warmth to a cold winter day. Thank you to all who came to set up, break down, cook, and all that joined us to make this day super special.

Congratulations on the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. Happy Names Day to our Peter Baksheev! Pauline and Paul! Happiest of birthdays to our very own Patrick D. And a super Happy 24th anniversary Boris and Svetlana! Our Sisters sold out of Peremichi! On this crisp and cool morning the ladies came together to make beautiful, juicy, meat filled peremichi. The warmth and lovely scents had filled the hall. Come join us after liturgy on Sunday and warm up with some tasty peremichi and some sweet baked goods. There will, also, be a special presentation of 2 new plaques by father Yaroslav.

Happy Birthday to Hristina! Happy 49th Wedding Anniversary to Father Basil and Matushka Tanya! May God grant you all many years! Thank you to all for this special day.

What a lovely day in Geelong for the feast of Pentecost! And a beautiful day for the Sisterhood's pop up Bake Sale! A perfect opportunity to celebrate and warm up with some beautiful piroshki and homemade treats donated and made with lotsa love for the Renovation of the Loo facilities. A fantastic effort and a lovely time. We have a winner of the Loo Pamper Hamper - Raya! Congratulations! Thank you to all who participated in baking their lovely desserts, for all that helped, to all who came to support. Thank you.

С праздником! С большим нетерпением мы ждали и готовились к приезду VERA. После литургии мы наслаждались пением 1-го концерта VERA - пением женского хора, который украсил праздник Святых Жен Мироносиц. VERA угостилa нас чудным, молитвенным концертом, что для нас было большой честью. Спасибо VERA за духовную радость и за праздник, который вы нам устроили! Дай Бог Вам силы любви и терпения в вашей работе на многая лета!

Christ Has Risen!

What a beautiful day in Geelong. The Tsar and Tsarina had come to support Teen Retreat 2025 with a Royal Blini Luncheon. Faina Ivanovna greeted the Tsar and Tsarina with a gorgeous home made Kolobok ( who ran away from the Tsar and Tsarina ) but was then caught by Nika! The Tsar and Tsarina came bearing gifts to their favourite Village, Geelong. The children were so excited to see the Tsar and Tsarina they sang a special song for the newlyweds. Olga read a special poem for all! Anara sang a few lovely songs to which the Tsar and Tsarina danced. The newly wed Tsar and Tsarina joyfully lead Charochka! A Very Big Thank you to The Teen Retreat team and Sisterhood for a Grand and Royal luncheon and Иван Жигалин ‘s Zakuski table, for everyone who had come to support, who had helped bake, cook, set up, clean up….and entertain! Thank you for a special day!

Congratulations on the feast. Today we welcome father Alexander Borodin. Father Alexander is visiting family from Queensland. Father Alexander had read a beautiful sermon that was inspiring and engouraging, supporting our spiritual lives. We hope you enjoy your stay in Geelong.

On Sunday, 21 July, we were honoured to greet the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Metropolitan Nicholas along with his delegation that had come to Geelong with the Kursk Root Wonderworking Icon. Before the start of the Akathist, in front of the Kursk Root Wonderworking Icon of the Mother of God, the Metropolitan had tonsured brother James as a reader. AXIOS! Followed by prayer of the Akathist to the Holy Theotokos. After the service, our lovely sisterhood prepared a beautiful feast, where parishioners had the opportunity to speak with Metropolitan Nicholas and meet the delegates as well as to continue prayers at the Holy Kursk Root icon. Many thanks to Vladyka Metropolitan Nicholas, very reverend Serafim Gan, protodeacon Eugene Kallaur, and protodeacon Paul Tokorev for this blessed opportunity and for coming to visit us all in Geelong. Thank you to our Starosta and his helpers, as well as, our Sisterhood for a joyous evening of celebration and prayer.  May the Most Holy Theotokos pray onto God for all of us. 

Congratulations on the feast of All Saints of Russia This week the Building Committee received the keys of the new units. The Project is complete and ready for tenants. After liturgy, there was a giving of thanks and blessing of the units. Parishioners were able to walk thru the units and take a look. Thank you to our hard working Building Communitee on successfully constructed units- Mnogaya Leta! To our benefactors Memory Eternal.

Congratulations on the Feast! Winter Youth Fellowship in Geelong. After Liturgy, the lovely mums served a grand lunch with the help of our wonderful gentlemen. There was a spiritual discussion provided by Father Yaroslav and then the young folk were able to enjoy some games, make new friends, and see some familiar faces. Thank you to all who helped make this day a very special and fun day.
